How to choose the RIGHT arch height for great results

Updated: Oct 6

IMPORTANT - The height of your arch plays a significant role in your overall foot health, so it’s important to determine whether you have flat feet, medium, or high arches. Fortunately, there's an easy way to check, known as the "wet test."

To perform the wet test, simply step out of the shower or tub onto a surface like cardboard, concrete, or thick paper (such as a brown paper bag). After leaving wet prints of both feet, compare them to the chart below.

If you think you might have flat feet, there's an extra step: compare your arch when it's bearing weight (while standing, as seen in your wet footprint) and when it's not (while sitting).

  • If your feet are flat both when sitting and standing, a low arch insole will be the best choice for you.

  • If your feet appear flat when standing but show an arch when sitting, a medium arch insole will provide the most comfort.
